artist: kevin cherry

I've had Kevin Cherry's fllickr photostream bookmarked for awhile now and keep going back to the galleries for inspiration. Love the distressed look and bright reds. Can't wait to see more work from him.

digital lizard

There's a new online printing company in the web world called Digital Lizard. Their prices are competitive, they offer short run quantities and their equipment is impressive (offset HP indigo machines). I'm eyeing their $14.95 price for a fully customizable deck of playing cards. Wouldn't that be an awesome promo item?

mark weaver

My favorite pieces from Mark Weaver's "Make Something Cool Every Day" project. Weaver is a graphic designer/illustrator from Atlanta whose client list includes HP, NY Times, Wired Magazine and The Washington Post.

get your nerd on

I'm loving these t-shirts from Parachute Clothing. I'm always on the lookout for cute things, especially clothing, that speak to my inner nerd.

fpo

Everything featured on For Print Only is absolutely stunning, especially this project by The Hungry Workshop.

up up creative collection

Julie Green, graphic designer and blogger extraordinairre of Up, up Creative just launched her 2011 wedding collection and it is beautiful. Julie's approach to design is honest and fun.

sophie zetterberg

Bright and simple identity design by the talented graphic designer, Sophie Zetterberg.

ben mayo

I joined the loop last week. There's definitely a ton of great portfolios hosted there. Including this one: Ben Mayo. He's an interesting designer based out of Sydney.

it's a pantone christmas

I have dreams of having a Pantone inspired Christmas tree one day, something to strive for. But if you're in the market for Pantone Christmas cards, here they are! Perfect for the fellow designers in your life or your print vendors :)

printkeg

There's a new printer in town. And by in town, I really mean on the web. Print Keg boasts that they are the cheapest web printer. But just because they're cheap doesn't mean you'll have to sacrifice quality. I priced some large format posters that I've been thinking about creating for our laundry room and my home office and was astonished. 18x24 on gloss photo paper for under $10? Sign me up. Their short run quantities make them the coolest kid on the block right now. I've ordered a sample kit and will let you know what I think.
